From GlenAllachie's Virgin Oak Series, batch 3 finished in Hungarian Oak from the Zemplen forest. The volcanic soil, cold climate and high altitude provide oak with a tight grain, ideal for aging spirit. Barrels were toasted and charred to a medium level before hosting GlenAllachie's complex spirit. One of the worlds first single malts finished in Hungarian virgin oak, expect an aromatic, well-balanced and wonderfully unique whisky delivering silky smooth richness.
